Welcome Our New Team Member: Jen Scharf

The DeSoto County Tobacco Free Partnership is thrilled to welcome Jen Scharf as the newest member of our team! Jen’s story is deeply rooted right here in DeSoto County. Born and raised in Bulldog Country, she has always believed in the power of connection, service, and helping others live well.
With a strong background in early childhood education and a long history of involvement in community and nonprofit organizations, Jen has dedicated much of her time to empowering others—guiding students in their personal growth, supporting families, and contributing to initiatives that strengthen our community.
Her passion for health and wellness aligns perfectly with our mission to build a tobacco-free DeSoto. Jen brings a unique blend of knowledge, compassion, and people-centered leadership that will further enhance our outreach and prevention efforts across the county.
Outside of work, Jen is a proud wife and mom of three. She enjoys spending time with her family and finding creative ways to make everyday moments meaningful.
We’re excited for the heart, energy, and dedication Jen brings to our team and look forward to the continued impact she’ll make in DeSoto and beyond. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome to the DeSoto County Tobacco Free Partnership as our new Tobacco Prevention Specialist.
